Rare and stunningly beautiful 14K Yellow Gold & Quartz Locket.
 
A distinct ANTIQUE Victorian era California 14k rose gold and gold in Quartz LOCKET pendant OR pocket watch fob designed for suspension to wear on a chain or dangle on the end of a pocket watch chain as a fob. This piece was designed for either UNISEX use.
 
Nice thick bodied solid 14k rose gold with 2 super rich panels of of gold Quartz on one side including the super rare color of black — only mined in one specific California locale.
 
The condition is all original with signs of use on a pocket watch chain at one time as there are some indents on the back where this fob would have hit the chain. The overall condition is nice considering this is a piece that was MADE in the 1880’s and actually used.
 
Locket functions properly and locks into place securely.
 
This is a heavy piece with a lot of gold and even more character and charm.
A very serious piece for an advanced collection or unique estate jewelry enthusiast.
